Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certifications expire 36 months after the initial certification date. To maintain your certification, you must pass the corresponding certification exam again before your certification expires.

Google will send you an email notification approximately two months before your certification expiration date to remind you to recertify.
Recertification Options
There are two ways to recertify your Google Educator certification:
- Independent Study: You can study independently and then register for the certification exam directly through Google.
- Enroll in Our Academies: Our academies provide comprehensive training and preparation for the Google Educator certification exams. Enrolling in one of our academies includes a testing voucher, saving you money on the exam fee.
